Threesome
Štefanigová, Denisa ; Novotný, Michal (referee) ; Malý, Břetislav (advisor)
Painting act as an act of making love The bachelor thesis is a serie of paintings on canvas, which strives to make the erotic images that each of us creates on the basis of his own imagination from day to day. They are unrealized, or dreamed and are not anchored in reality, thus creating a new reality, functioning in the space of our heads. This is how painting works for me. As a space in which something can happen that doesn't really exist.
METAPHYSICAL STORIES
Dvořák, Vojtěch ; Písařík, Petr (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
The work entitled "Metaphysical stories" relates to the personal perception and experience of the outside world and oneself, as well as to the perception of painting and picture. The concept of metaphyisics is borrowed from philosophy precisely for its thematization of human existence. The narrative presents a stream of expressions intended for sharing, communication, entertainment and learning. The bachelor thesis consists of a series of oil paintings on canvas. These are abstract paintings in which I examine the shape, color and subject matter of the painting. Imaginative scenes devoid of figures and perspectives. The aim is to open up as much space as possible to unlimited expression.
Safe places
Šavarová, Veronika ; Pospiszyl, Tomáš (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor‘s thesis is the relationship between a person and one’s space, which is interwoven with feelings of nostalgia and the need to return to the period of the author's early childhood. The work identifies with a number of approaches of several art movements in the first half of the 20th century, such as surrealism, expressionism, symbolism etc. These approaches collide in the author's work, forming a mixture of influences demonstrated together on a personal level in the resulting work. The most honest and credible manifestation of the place is deemed to be the aim of the bachelor‘s thesis. The finished work is intended to inspire viewer‘s intense and conflicting feelings. The autor finds the medium of painting to be most suitable to conveying the topic.
Linsident or The anatomy of a poser
Sližová, Eva ; Fic,, Igor (referee) ; Ruller, Tomáš (advisor)
My bachelor project, Linsident, is a long-term act of imagination and self reflection through the media of free-verse poetry. In the end I was able to separete literary, metal (therapeutic) and strictly personal aspect of the work. As a result there is a radically, with perspective, edited poetry and its performative presentation.
Kamikakushi
Pejchová, Natálie ; Ptáček, Jiří (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
The term kamikakushi is an old Japanese traditional technique of magical abduction (spiritual travel, where one's attention is taken from the normal state of consciousness to the deeper layers of perception of reality), in which the victim does not recall the abduction. I borrowed this term from Japanese mythology, which is used in stories for kids. In our meaning it could be understood as forgetting myself / not being witty in everyday life is a breathless journey to imagination. The boundary between exploring the facts, real but also starring into nowhere, where the spaces begin to come to life by themselves only, because we decide to attach importance to it. It is the moment when restlessness awakens, making the noise rumbling in that empty silence. I connect with space, I am the nature reference, I am a dialogue, a mirror. This state of perception, experience of reality is for me an important source of imagination. It is a state in which painting takes place. Reality becomes magical when we turn our attention to it and empty it at the same time from notion. Emotion is the primordial sign of perception, creating an atmosphere of its use is the idea of reviving is the search for an image.
FICTION CENCRETE
Tajovský, Jakub ; Pospiszyl,, Tomáš (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
In my master thesis I realize the set of pictures and painterly objects, which should imitate principles of augmented reality by analogial form. From technical standpoint Im interested in question of bidirectional remediation of new media and painting and how its evolution supports ilussion and imagination. In ontologiacal way im looking for mystical nature of picture. Final exhibition is an metaphor composed in hybryd picture based on technological and theoretical experiences in Painting. The result is little synthetic reality.

Portrait of rock
Svatoš, Jan ; Mikolášek, Martin (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the memory of the Icelandic rock through a series of abstract paintings anchored in the aesthetics of process painting. The author paints the paintings on the basis of a synthesis of personal experience, a metaphorical conception of geological processes and drawing from a digital photographic master, and observes the relationship between the painter and his painting in the sense of building a painting as an entity with subjective needs. At the same time, the work examines the overlaps and possibilities of abstract painting to stimulate an imagination that changes the resulting meaning and content in relation to its creator or viewer.
